The search for a rental home

Finding a suitable rental property is a difficult and time consuming activity. We can imagine that you can be overwhelmed. Often rental properties are already rented out before you have the opportunity to view them. We can help you with that. Houses4Let will take all the searching off your hands and we will find the perfect property for you, even before others find it! We look after your interests and find you at least 4 properties that meet your wishes. Let us know what you are looking for and we will get to work for you!

How does the rental search work?

We will be happy to tell you how the search for a suitable home works. If you become a client with us, we will ask you to deliver the following documents:

  • a copy of your proof of valid identity document
  • 2 most recent pay slips
  • recent employer's statement
Then, together with an employee of Houses4Let, we will map out your housing requirements and investigate their feasibility. On the basis of your specified housing requirements, we will search within our extensive network for suitable homes. 

We also add you to the database of house hunters so that you will be informed immediately with every new home. We will look for a minimum of 4 houses. You look at the houses online and decide which ones you prefer and which ones you want to view. We plan these and go with you to the houses. After all, we look at them with a different eye and can advise you on all aspects.

If you have found a suitable home, we will go around the table with the landlord or fellow real estate agent to discuss the conditions. You can think of matters such as the price of the rent, starting date, length of the rental period, furnished or upholstered, etc. If everything is agreed, we will check the drawn up rental agreement, or draw up one ourselves. During the key handover we will assist you and record all matters during the inspection so that you have documented everything when you leave the house in the future. If you wish, we can also arrange the connection of GWL (gas, water and electricity) and/or internet and TV for you free of charge. Also after delivery we are always ready for you if you have questions about the house or the whole process.
